A very poor script by Haggis. The film plays more like a made-for-tv movie then a theatrical release.

This movie started out slow and kept you guessing. Was English professor (R. Crowe) capable of saving his lady love (Banks)? The action just kept escalating more and more to the bang up end!

The first half was slow and uninteresting and I thot of leaving. The last third was "edge of the seat" stuff and redeemed the movie.

Suspenseful, well done; worth going to see. The movie is focused on the plot, the characters; very little language or sexual content...Makes you think about how far would you go for your partner.

Although I'm still a bit skeptical on Elizabeth Banks as a dramatic actress, this film was a harrowing yarn on the lengths a huband will go to keep his family together. It's part of a string of recent films in the same vein such as Conviction and Fair Game (You can actually count Due Date in there as well). A good tense popcorn flick

It was a good movie with some very nerve wracking scenes. I thoroughly enjoyed it especially the actor Russel Crowe. Could have been a little bit shorter but I still would recomment one see it.

I really liked this movie. There were times that I felt like gripping my seat as if I was on an amusement ride that might go hurling me into the air. This movie was a fun ride. I enjoyed the nailbiting action that accompanied the anguish of the main character trying to save his wife; his life. The look on Russell Crowe's face in the final scene is worth the price of admission.
